Since January 1, 2025, most non-commercial vehicles in Texas no longer need a safety inspection. Tarrant County still requires an annual emissions test for gasoline vehicles 2 through 24 years old, and your car has to pass it before you can renew the registration. E1 Auto Care is a state-certified Texas inspection station, so we run the emissions (OBD-II) test here. If your car fails, we show you why, fix it with your OK, and retest it. The retest is free when it's done here within 15 days of the first test.

“I took my 2010 Tundra to E1 Auto for a check engine light .They told me that the air pump was out and was a very costly fix($ 3000.00). I knew my truck was out of warranty but the guys there at E1knew there was an enhanced warranty by Toyota for this problem. (150,000 miles / 10 yrs) They did not have to tell me this and I would have gone ahead and paid the $3000.00.They even found the closest Toyota Dealership that would handle the warranty issue without any problem.Thank you E1 for your honesty .By the way , this was not the first or last time I will use them!”

“Very thorough and nice they explain everything in detail and honest”
Repairs and services we do with parts we supply are covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, on parts and labor. Oil changes, inspections and other basic upkeep aren't covered. If something we fixed isn't right, bring it back.
